Your Role

  • Providing direct patient care under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
  • Aiding in treatment interventions and therapeutic exercises
  • Assisting in reviewing patients’ functional needs and reporting observations to the supervising Physical Therapist
  • Implementing established plans of care as directed by the Physical Therapist
  • Directing the assistance of support staff to achieve patients’ functional goals
  • Communicating effectively with the supervising Physical Therapist, other professionals, and support staff

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program
  • Current Physical Therapy Assistant license from the state of Colorado
  • Knowledge and skills to care for the physical and developmental needs of the population age groups that will be receiving services
  • At least one year of experience as a physical therapy assistant preferred
  • Ability to remain calm in emergency or crisis situations
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
