Your Role

Providing direct patient care under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
Aiding in treatment interventions and therapeutic exercises
Assisting in reviewing patients’ functional needs and reporting observations to the supervising Physical Therapist
Implementing established plans of care as directed by the Physical Therapist
Directing the assistance of support staff to achieve patients’ functional goals
Communicating effectively with the supervising Physical Therapist, other professionals, and support staff

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program
Current Physical Therapy Assistant license from the state of Colorado
Knowledge and skills to care for the physical and developmental needs of the population age groups that will be receiving services
At least one year of experience as a physical therapy assistant preferred
Ability to remain calm in emergency or crisis situations
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
