Job Summary
As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you’ll work under the direction of a Physical Therapist to carry out well-defined, evidence-based treatment plans with precision and consistency. This role is well-suited for someone who is patient, disciplined, and focused — someone who values accuracy, clear methods, and the satisfaction of completing technical clinical tasks the right way.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Carry out therapeutic exercises, modalities, and interventions as outlined in the PT’s plan of care.
- Gather and document accurate, factual clinical information in the electronic medical record.
- Aid in recommending durable medical equipment to support safety and mobility.
- Provide clear, structured instruction to caregivers, families, and staff.
- Support restorative and wellness programming through consistent, task-focused work.
- Deliver therapy in multiple settings including the center, Participants’ homes, skilled nursing facilities, and hospitals.
- Observe and report Participant changes promptly to the clinical team.
- Maintain steady, professional communication based on facts and clinical observations.
- Build strong working relationships with facility staff, healthcare partners, and caregivers.
- Participate in quality initiatives, training, and process improvements.

Requirements
- Successful completion of background check, physical, drug screening, TB Screening.
Physical Requirements
- Intermittent periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer and standing, lifting, and bending to provide treatments to participants.
- Must be able to lift, bend, demonstrate, and perform therapeutic interventions as often as participant treatment plans require.
- Must be able to access various departments of a given location.
