Responsibilities
- Provide excellent individualized care for our patients.
- Educate patients on their condition and the treatments they receive.
- Complete timely and accurate documentation.
- Affiliate with therapist in determining progress, developing goals, and directing care.
- Adhere to ethical and legal standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience working as a PTA, 1-2 years minimum
- Knowledge of exercise concepts and practice
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team
- Current State of Michigan license
- Graduate of CAPTE accredited school
Preferred
- Experience in orthopedic and home healthcare settings
- BLS certification
