Physical Therapy Assistant

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent individualized care for our patients.
• Educate patients on their condition and the treatments they receive.
• Complete timely and accurate documentation.
• Affiliate with therapist in determining progress, developing goals, and directing care.
• Adhere to ethical and legal standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience working as a PTA, 1-2 years minimum
• Knowledge of exercise concepts and practice
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff
• Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team
• Current State of Michigan license
• Graduate of CAPTE accredited school

Preferred

• Experience in orthopedic and home healthcare settings
• BLS certification
