Physical Therapy Assistant

HealthMark Rehabilitation is an in-house therapy company serving Skilled Nursing Facility patients and residents of HMG facilities. We’re currently seeking full-time Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) to treat residents and short-term patients at our Green Oaks Health & Rehab facility in Arlington, Texas.

About the Role

Position is located at 3033 W Green Oaks Blvd, Arlington, TX. You will work in a beautiful facility equipped with state-of-the-art rehabilitation equipment alongside a large interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapy services in accordance with physician’s orders and accepted professional practices.
• Registered therapists develop an overall therapy plan of care, including:
  • Treatment and medical diagnosis warranting skilled intervention
  • Planned duration and frequency of therapy
  • Short- and long-term functional, measurable goals that support the discharge plan
• Perform skilled treatments according to the established plan of care across all therapy disciplines.
• Document observations, patient responses to interventions, progress, and notable changes in condition within specified timeframes.
• Complete all required documentation and billing on the date of service, adhering to state and federal regulations and policies.
• Maintain rehab gym equipment and treatment areas safely, using proper infection prevention methods.

Requirements

• Must hold a Texas PTA license/certification.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Organizational and analytical skills required.
• Ability to function effectively in multi-faceted systems and interact with all levels of staff and customers.
• Demonstrated time management, organization, and independent clinical judgment.
• Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Meet physical requirements to deliver responsibilities.
• Experience in a geriatric rehabilitation setting preferred.
• Successful completion of hiring process, including background check.
