About the role
Seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide high-quality, person-centered care under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
Responsibilities
- Implement and modify treatment plans based on individual scope of practice.
- Assist participants with exercises, mobility training, and therapeutic interventions.
- Educate participants and families on home exercises, safety, and injury prevention.
- Monitor progress, document sessions, and communicate updates to the supervising therapist.
- Maintain equipment, ensure safety, and assist with transfers and equipment management.
- Participate in team meetings, quality initiatives, and supervise students or interns.
Qualifications
- Associate of Arts Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
- Current state license or eligibility for licensure.
- Preferred one year of experience, especially with elderly populations.
- Strong communication skills, ability to build rapport, and effective teamwork.
- Ability to manage caseloads, follow treatment plans, and ensure compliance.

- Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and up-to-date immunizations.
- Pass a comprehensive background check and meet safety standards.
