Physical Therapy Assistant

About the role

Supporting frail seniors through physical therapy to promote safety, mobility, and independence in community and home settings.

Responsibilities

• Follow treatment plans set by a Physical Therapist.
• Guide patients in therapeutic exercises, gait and balance training, and proper use of assistive devices.

Key Duties

• Conduct center-based and in-home visits.
• Document patient progress.
• Educate caregivers.
• Participate in team care planning within an interdisciplinary, person-centered environment.
