About the Role

Harbor Point Skilled Nursing in Texas City, TX serves both short-term and long-term patients. Responsibilities

• Provide rehabilitative services to residents with mental, physical, psychosocial, and/or developmental impairments under the direction of a licensed physical therapist.
• Maintain expected productivity and efficiency as set by the Director of Rehab or Administrator.
• Monitor therapy services to ensure correct performance and provide encouragement as needed.
• Maintain patient physical therapy records, including resident progress and daily notes.
• Generate revenue by recording billing information for services rendered.
• Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following facility policies and procedures.
• Keep therapy equipment operational by following instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, maintaining supplies, performing preventive maintenance, and requesting repairs.
• Adhere to professional standards, policies, and federal, state, and local requirements to uphold the physical therapy practice.
• Enhance the physical therapy practice by accepting new responsibilities and exploring opportunities to add value.

Requirements

• Current Texas licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA).
• New graduates are welcome to apply.
