About the role
Connect Pediatrics is looking for a Pediatric Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team in the Lewisville, Texas area. As a part of our team, you will play a vital role in collaboratively ensuring that pediatric patients receive comprehensive and well‑coordinated care in the comfort of their own homes. Clinicians at Connect don't just provide treatments, they build lasting relationships with their patients and families.
Responsibilities
- Implement relevant treatment plans aligned with physician's orders.
- Provide in‑home therapy services for pediatric patients with a wide range of diagnoses.
- Engage with patients' families, providing them with regular communication and updates on goals for their child.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including other therapy disciplines, physicians, and nurses, to develop holistic treatment plans that address the diverse needs of each patient.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation that reflects the care provided and communicates changes in treatment plans to the entire healthcare team.
- Actively participate in one‑on‑one meetings with PT Supervisor/team leads to discuss patient progress, share insights, and refine treatment strategies collaboratively.
Requirements
- A valid, active Physical Therapist Assistant license in the state of Texas.
- Current BLS/CPR certification.
- Reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and automotive insurance.
- Pediatric experience is preferred but not required.
