We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant to join the Deaconess Home Health team. The role utilizes NestMed ambient AI technology to support patient care. You will serve patients across Indiana counties (Wayne, Union, Fayette, Randolph, Franklin, Henry) and Ohio counties (Darke, Preble) in their homes, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, with no after‑hour on‑call requirements and mileage reimbursement at 58.5 cents per mile.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in regaining independence by improving mobility, strength, and overall functional abilities.
• Work collaboratively with physical therapists, patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to deliver patient‑centered care.
• Help establish and achieve patient goals.
• Utilize NestMed ambient AI technology in the delivery of therapy services.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in Physical Therapist Assistant from an accredited program.
• Active registered PTA license in the state of practice.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• One year of Physical Therapy Assistant experience in a clinical setting.
• Valid driver’s license and automobile insurance.
• Compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations.

Pay

$28.67 – $42.64 per hour.

Schedule

Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
