Physical Therapy Assistant
About the role
The Physical Therapy Assistant at CHI St. Alexius Turtle Lake will provide physical therapy services under the direction of a physical therapist. Key responsibilities include executing and progressing rehabilitation programs, designing and communicating home programs, welcoming patients warmly, managing challenging interactions, and accurately documenting and billing patient care.
Responsibilities
- Skilfully executes and progresses rehabilitation programs, and effectively designs/communicates home programs under PT supervision
- Welcome patients warmly, show genuine concern and compassion, provide verbal/non-verbal encouragement, and manage challenging patient interactions effectively
- Utilize time and support personnel efficiently, optimize personal efficiency during heavy workloads, and complete projects/duties on time
- Demonstrate willingness to work extended hours as needed, teach in-service classes, and assist coworkers
- Produce timely, complete, and accurate patient notes, discharge forms, and treatment instructions, ensuring accurate billing for services and supplies
- Build positive relationships with colleagues and providers, foster workplace positivity, resolve conflicts, and maintain a consistently positive attitude
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved or credentialed Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of North Dakota
- Able to perform all duties required of a PTA including charting and documentation

Pay
The posted compensation range is $20.65 - $29.54 /hour, reflecting the lowest to highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.
