The Physical Therapist Assistant provides direct patient care under supervision, implementing treatment plans established by a Physical Therapist to ensure high-quality care. The role involves responsibility for executing physical therapy interventions, maintaining compliance with hospital policies, and supporting patient recovery.

Responsibilities

• Assist in delivering physical therapy treatments
• Follow established care plans and departmental policies
• Collaborate with the rehabilitation team to optimize patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care
• Ensure compliance with licensing, safety, and quality standards

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Washington Physical Therapy Assistant License upon hire
• CPR/BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Obtain Medicare NPI number within 30 days
• Experience or specialized training may be required based on departmental needs
