Physical Therapy Assistant
About the role
The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) at CareOne provides rehabilitation care within all general accepted practice methods, meeting all center, state, federal, and accrediting standards. The position offers collaboration with nursing and clinical staff, consistent and stable employment, and career advancement opportunities across a large, multi-state network.
Responsibilities
- Implements treatment plans as outlined by the supervising therapist.
- Provides feedback to the designated supervisor on all clinical and rehabilitation issues.
- Participates in the screening of all residents according to directed schedules and practices.
- Participates in all center directed processes and services.
- Shows effective management of treatment and non-treatment related activities.
- Performs necessary clinical documentation to meet center, state, federal, and accrediting agency requirements.
- Maintains complete, accurate and timely billing records to meet center, state, federal, and accrediting agency requirements.
- May travel to other facilities to provide services on a limited basis.
Requirements
- Associate’s Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant Program.
- Current and Active Physical Therapy Assistant license within the state of operations.
- Prioritize experience/knowledge in older adult rehabilitation.
- Prioritize knowledge in governmental and regulatory guidelines in designated healthcare settings.
Qualifications
Essential qualifications include a strong commitment to patient care, excellent communication skills, and a passion for rehabilitation therapy. Candidates must also be able to work independently and as part of a team.
Skills
Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively under pressure are key skills for this role.

Pay
$30-$42/hour, with compensation based on experience, qualifications, credentials, employment status, and work schedule.
Schedule
Position is available for both part-time (22.5+ hours/week) and full-time employees.
