About the role
AVIR Health Group is seeking a resident‑ and family‑focused Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) who is a team builder and excited to help shape facility culture. The PTA will assist the Physical Therapist (PT) in developing and implementing individual patient occupational therapy care plans and perform daily occupational therapy assignments to meet therapy plans and treatment goals. New PTAs are welcome to apply, and walk‑ins are accepted daily.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Physical Therapist in the development and implementation of individual patient occupational therapy care plans.
- Perform daily occupational therapy assignments to accomplish patient therapy plans and treatment goals.
Qualifications
- Knowledge equivalent to completion of an associate’s degree in an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
- Current license/registration in the state of hire as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
