Physical Therapy Assistant
About the role
AVIR Health Group is seeking a resident‑ and family‑focused Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) who is a team builder and excited to help shape the culture of a new facility. The PTA will assist the Physical Therapist (PT) in developing and implementing individual patient occupational therapy care plans and perform daily occupational therapy assignments to achieve therapy goals. New PTAs are welcome to apply, and walk‑ins are accepted daily.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Physical Therapist in the development and implementation of individual patient occupational therapy care plans.
- Perform daily occupational therapy assignments to accomplish patient therapy plans and treatment goals.
- Contribute to building a positive facility culture as a team builder.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program (knowledge equivalent to that ordinarily acquired through such a program).
- Current state license/registration as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of hire.
