Physical Therapy Assistant

About the Role

Aventura at Assumption Village is looking for Physical Therapy Assistants (PTAs) to join our in-house rehabilitation team. Whether you're seeking a stable full-time position or PRN hours for extra income, we want compassionate, dedicated PTAs who aim to make a difference in residents' lives.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled therapy interventions under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist
• Implement individualized treatment plans
• Address strength, mobility, balance, endurance, and functional needs
• Monitor resident progress and response to treatment
• Educate residents, families, and caregivers on exercises and mobility strategies
• Communicate resident progress and concerns to the supervising PT
• Complete timely and accurate documentation
• Collaborate with nursing and the interdisciplinary care team
• Provide compassionate, resident‑centered care

Requirements

• Active Ohio Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license
• License in good standing with applicable licensing boards and regulatory agencies
• LTC/SNF, geriatric, or post‑acute experience preferred (but not required)
• Net Health experience is a plus
• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative therapy team
• Passion for helping residents maintain mobility, function, and independence
