Aspire Senior Living New Florence is seeking a skilled Physical Therapy Assistant to join our dedicated team of healthcare professionals. In this per diem/PRN role, you will play a vital part in providing high-quality physical therapy services to our residents, enhancing their lives and promoting overall well-being. Responsibilities
- Assist licensed physical therapists in planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized treatment plans for our residents
- Conduct thorough assessments of residents' physical status, identifying strengths and limitations
- Develop and implement effective treatment modalities, including exercises, stretches, and training programs
- Provide support and education to residents, families, and caregivers on physical therapy techniques and strategies
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of treatment sessions and progress
- Meet and exceed quality and productivity standards
Requirements
- Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) studies or related field
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) in the State of Missouri
- Strong clinical skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to working with seniors and their families
- Ability to lift, transfer, and support residents as needed
