Physical Therapy Assistant

About the role

Join us as a Physical Therapist Assistant, providing essential physical therapy services to residents in a reputable care center.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver physical therapy treatments according to the Plan of Care and community policies.
• Conduct assessments, diagnostic tests, and evaluations for residents receiving therapy services.
• Implement educational programs tailored to residents' needs and environments.
• Support quality improvement initiatives and promote a safe environment for residents and staff.
• Supervise applicable team members, including physical therapist assistants, and evaluate performance.
• Perform other related duties as required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Current license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state.
• Minimum of one year of professional experience.
• CPR certification.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of physical therapy principles and practices.
• Ability to pass drug, criminal, and employment screenings.

Preferred Skills

• Proficiency with computers and electronic documentation tools.
• Ability to meet staffing requirements for PRN positions.
