Physical Therapy Assistant

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our growing healthcare team in Colora, Maryland.

Responsibilities

• Implement prescribed treatment plans under the supervision of Physical Therapists
• Conduct therapeutic exercises and manual therapy techniques
• Absorb patients with mobility, strength training, and functional activities
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate treatment records
• Educate patients and families about exercises and home programs
• Set up and maintain therapy equipment
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Monitor and report patient responses to treatment
• Maintain a safe and clean treatment environment
• Participate in team meetings and care planning sessions

Qualifications

• Graduate of a CAPTE accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Current Maryland state license or ability to obtain promptly
• Valid CPR certification
• Outpatient orthopedic experience preferred
• Strong manual therapy and exercise instruction skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Demonstrated proficiency in therapeutic modalities
• Comprehensive understanding of anatomy and physiology
• Strong documentation and record-keeping skills
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and compliance
• Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively
• Compassionate approach to patient care
• Team-oriented mindset with strong collaborative skills
• Physical ability to assist patients with mobility and exercises

Benefits

• The anticipated base pay range for this position is $28.00-$38.00.
• Pay is based on various factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography.
• This position is eligible for discretionary incentive compensation.
• The Company's incentive compensation plan is subject to change.

Pay

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $28.00-$38.00. Pay is based on various factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography.
