About the role

As a Physical Therapy Assistant at Accela Rehab and Care Center at Somerton, you will play a vital role in our interdisciplinary team, working closely with physical therapists to provide high-quality patient care. You will assist in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans, conduct therapy sessions, and monitor patient progress. Responsibilities

• Assist physical therapists in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans for patients
• Conduct therapy sessions, including exercises, stretches, and other modalities to help patients achieve their goals
• Monitor patient progress, document treatment notes, and communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
• Contribute to a positive and supportive treatment environment, promoting a culture of respect, empathy, and empowerment
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of effective treatment plans
• Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and agency policies

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program
• Current Physical Therapy Assistant licensure in the state of Pennsylvania
