Physical Therapy Aide - Per Diem

About the role

As a Physical Therapy Aide at PRN, you'll be an essential part of our team, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to ensure a smooth and positive experience for our patients.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist patients in transitioning to therapy areas, ensuring their comfort and safety.
• Help create a positive work environment and clinic culture by ensuring patient needs are taken care of during transitional periods of therapy.
• Help provide customer service, a smile.
• Prepare therapy equipment and treatment areas based on therapist instructions.
• Maintain organized patient records, schedule appointments, and handle billing procedures.
• Aid therapists during therapy sessions by providing necessary materials and facilitating exercises.
• Aid in daily equipment cleaning, cleaning tables, laundry, stocking supplies.

Skills & Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Additional education or training in healthcare is a plus.
• Prior experience in a healthcare setting or as a Physical Therapy Aide preferred.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
• A compassionate and patient-centered approach towards assisting individuals in need.

Schedule

Part time/Per diem - up to 25hrs/per week - clinic is open Mon/Weds 7am-7pm Tues/Thurs/Friday 8am-5:30pm
