About the role

Penn Medicine Outpatient Rehab is seeking a Physical Therapy Aide to join our team. This role works Monday and Wednesday from 3 - 7:30 pm with additional hours for coverage in the office. Ideal candidates should have flexibility with availability.

Summary

The Physical Therapy Aide provides necessary services within the Physical Therapy Department to ensure efficient operations and optimal use of professional staff. They assist therapists and therapy assistants in patient care within established parameters by the State Board of Physical Therapy. The Aide also assists in maintaining Rehab Services equipment, performing chart maintenance, and assisting in the Rehab Services office.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Rehab Services Equipment
• Cleaning of equipment and tables according to manufacturer guidelines
• Assist in the upkeep of the Rehab Services Department
• Assists in the chart maintenance as per front desk staff request
• Includes but not limited to: filing, copying, filing charts
• Assists in the Rehab Services office

Requirements

• Basic Cardiac Life Support (Required)
• H.S. Diploma/GED (Required)

Qualifications

• Experience is preferred, but not required

Pay

Salary Range: $16.55 - $21.70/Hourly
