About the role
ACCESS PT, a member of the Confluent Health family, is seeking a Physical Therapy Aide for its New Fairfield, CT clinic.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and sanitize treatment rooms for patients
- Understand the uses of stationary bikes, pulley systems, exercise/medicine balls, plyometric boxes, rebounder, weight equipment, mobilization tables and benches, and progressive resistive exercises as designed by the Physical Therapist
- Prepare equipment such as hydrotherapy tanks, paraffin baths, and hot packs
- Remove and replace braces, splints, and slings from patients before and after treatment
- Assist the physical therapy assistant and/or physical therapist to support patients during ambulation and gait training
- Communicate effectively with patients/clients, the public, and all members of the healthcare team
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
Pay
$13.50 – $15.00 per hour, based on experience.
