Physical Therapist, Women’s Health- 40 hours/week Up to $20,000 Sign On Bonus

Minimum degree of Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from an accredited university or college.
Valid and unencumbered licensure to practice Physical Therapy in the State of Michigan.
Must have verification card of current instruction in CPR.

Assists in and makes recommendations for departmental policies, procedures, and standards of care as required.
Presents in-service education for other hospital personnel and outside groups as requested.
Keeps abreast of developments in the Physical Therapy field.
Evaluates and treats referrals as appropriate in accordance with Physical Therapy licensure and based upon the age of the client served.
Documents evaluation weekly or daily progress and records discharge summaries for patients being followed by the Physical Therapy Department.
Aids in preparation and maintenance of department records as well as special reports.
Informs physicians and other involved healthcare providers of relevant progress and status changes of patients.
Collaborates in coordinating or providing educational experiences as related to Physical Therapy and clinical supervision for PTA students from Finlandia University.
Complies with HIPAA requirements for security and confidentiality.
Observes all infection control and safety policies and procedures.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Must be able to demonstrate knowledge of BCMH Corporate Compliance plan, Code of Conduct and reporting process of any compliance concerns.
Shall be responsible for completing educational requirements.
