Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and treat patients with physical impairments, disorders, or functional limitations.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to improve mobility, strength, endurance, and overall physical function.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide holistic care.
  • Evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
  • Contribute to public health initiatives and community outreach programs.

Requirements

  • Licensed as a Physical Therapist by the Virginia Department of Health Professions.
  • BLS certification.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in physical therapy is required.
  • A Master's degree or doctorate in physical therapy is preferred.
  • One year of experience in physical therapy is preferred.

Skills

  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of physical therapy techniques.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in using medical software and equipment.
