Physical Therapist (Travel) - PT

About the role

The Physical Therapist - Journey Traveler provides nationwide travel-based rehabilitation services, assessing and developing personalized physical therapy programs to promote recovery, independence, and health.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs, develop, and implement therapy plans in various settings.
• Refer patients to other disciplines as needed and adapt treatment plans accordingly.
• Supervise support personnel, ensure documentation accuracy, and maintain equipment.
• Educate patients and caregivers on therapy techniques to foster independence.
• Collaborate with the rehabilitation team and contribute to patient care discussions.
• Order supplies, ensure safety, and promote a compassionate, quality service environment.
• Perform reexaminations, modify treatment plans, and document services thoroughly.
• Utilize techniques such as therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, modalities, and adaptive device training.

Qualifications & Skills

• Valid state licensure or eligibility in Physical Therapy.
• Master’s degree in Physical Therapy or equivalent; or Bachelor’s plus 5 years of experience.
• Degree earned outside the U.S. must be evaluated for U.S. equivalency.
• Willingness to travel and reside temporarily in various locations.

Pay

Salary Range: USD $55.00 - USD $70.00 per hour.
