Role Overview

The Physical Therapist - Journey Traveler provides nationwide travel for 13-week assignments, delivering personalized rehabilitation services across various settings.

Responsibilities

• Assessing patient needs and developing individualized physical therapy programs to promote recovery and independence.
• Implementing therapy techniques such as therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, functional training, and use of modalities.
• Educating patients and caregivers on skills to enhance functioning and safety.
• Making referrals to other disciplines to ensure comprehensive care.
• Supervising support personnel and maintaining documentation of services.
• Ensuring a safe environment and proper equipment maintenance.
• Adapting treatment plans based on patient progress and needs.
• Collaborating with the rehabilitation team to optimize patient outcomes.

Qualifications & Skills

• Valid Physical Therapy license or eligibility in practice state(s).
• Master's degree in Physical Therapy or related field, or Bachelor's plus 5 years of experience.
• Ability to travel and reside temporarily in various locations.
• Evaluation of foreign degrees to U.S. standards if applicable.
• Compassionate care delivery, adaptability, teamwork, and proficiency in diverse therapy techniques.
