Essential Functions
- Evaluates patients of various ages with musculoskeletal dysfunction
- Designs appropriate treatment interventions based on findings in evaluation
- Performs necessary paperwork to ensure compliance with federal and insurance regulations
- Provides timely and appropriate billing information for services provided

Site Coordinator Essential Functions
- Aids in hiring, training, and supervising assigned staff
- Helps them develop performance goals and objectives
- Aids in performance evaluation and recommends merit increases, promotions, and disciplinary actions
- Maintains clinic area, offices, and equipment
- Provides data for financial and statistical purposes
- Aids in the creation and implementation of medical support and computer systems and procedures
- Maintains appointment, patient flow, medical records, and staff
- Supervises fee, credit, and collection procedures
- Ensures compliance with regulations and with clinic standards of quality patient care
- Identifies and resolves operational problems
- Attends required meetings and participates in committees as requested
- Participates in professional development activities
- Maintains strictest confidentiality
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program
- Licensed or eligible for licensure as a physical therapist in the State of RI & State of MA
- Previous experience in outpatient orthopedics/musculoskeletal rehab preferred
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Excellent decision-making, delegating, communications, and writing skills
- Must demonstrate management skills and ability to foster an environment of teamwork, professionalism, customer satisfaction, high performance, and mutual respect of others, plus possess a “can do” attitude and the ability to execute stellar customer service
- Computer skill proficiency in EHR, Microsoft word and outlook
- Efficiently assists in the coordination of a busy office, including use of email, document scanning, and word processing
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to develop practice at a new facility within UOI
- Attention to detail
- Must be able to travel to all sites if/when necessary
Salary will be reviewed and determined based on each candidate’s experience and qualifications.
