Responsibilities

• Document all aspects of care, including clinical services, billing, and communication with the healthcare team and patients.
• Demonstrate comprehensive clinical knowledge and ensure acceptable performance during patient encounters.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines such as HIPAA, Medicare rules, and billing/coding standards.
• Effective communication with patients, the public, and healthcare team members.

Requirements

• Doctorate of Physical Therapy from a CAPTE-accredited institution.
• Unrestricted Physical Therapist licensure in Louisiana.
• Residency training or enrollment preferred.
• Clinical Specialist board certification preferred.
