Responsibilities
- Evaluate students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans
- Provide therapeutic interventions
- Collaborate with district staff and families
- Maintain accurate records
- Participate in IEP meetings
- Support student access to school activities
Requirements
- Connecticut Physical Therapist license
- Graduate from an accredited Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program
- Pass the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE)
- Active Physical Therapy (PT) license in Connecticut
- Clear, articulate communication skills
- Ability to explain results to a varied audience
- Candidates with previous school experience a plus!
Qualifications
Required qualifications include a Connecticut Physical Therapist license. School-based experience and strong teamwork skills are recommended.
