Physical Therapist PT Outpatient

Responsibilities

• Establishes therapy goals and formulates a treatment plan based on evaluation results.
• Supervises Physical Therapy Assistants (PTAs) according to organization policy and state regulations.
• Provides individual, family, and group therapy sessions for clients engaged in outpatient therapy.
• Participates in interdisciplinary groups for hospice patients and case conferences for home health patients.
• Participates in discharge planning.
• Initial assessment of clinical needs using standardized tools and protocols, and facilitates recommendations for treatment.
• Records all pertinent data in the patient’s medical records.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Physical Therapy degree required.
• Experience working as a physical therapist in a hospital, rehab, or ambulatory setting preferred, but not required.
• Pelvic Health experience preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record systems.
• Effective communication skills.
• Teaching others how to do something.
• Excellent problem-solving, case management, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of related accreditation and certification requirements.

$90,084.80 - $117,696.80/Annual
