Physical Therapist, (PT), outpatient

About the role

Lifepoint Rehabilitation, part of Lifepoint Health, is dedicated to making communities healthier. The Physical Therapist (PT) will join a fast‑paced, fun outpatient unit with over 60 staff members who embrace a team culture and deliver exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial and ongoing assessments of patients’ conditions.
• Establish a plan of care tailored to each patient’s capabilities and desires.
• Plan, prepare, and carry out individually designed physical treatment programs to maintain, improve, or restore physical functioning, alleviate pain, and prevent dysfunction.
• Provide therapy interventions using standard physical therapy techniques appropriate for the patient’s age and condition.
• Direct and supervise physical therapy assistants, students, and other support personnel; assess competence, delegate tasks, and maintain communication channels.
• Administer treatments involving physical agents such as equipment, moist packs, ultraviolet and infrared lamps, and ultrasound machines.
• Evaluate, fit, and adjust prosthetic and orthotic devices and recommend modifications.
• Identify and document goals, anticipated progress, and plans for reevaluation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree (required).
• Physical Therapist license in the state of practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (to be obtained within 30 days of hire).

Pay

Sign‑on bonus: $10,000.

Schedule

Typical 8 am – 5 pm schedule, may vary depending on needs. Full‑time days.
