Responsibilities
Provides medically prescribed physical therapy services to evaluate, treat, and restore function while improving mobility, reducing pain, and preventing disability. Delivers patient-centered care in accordance with hospital policies, regulatory requirements, and evidence-based practices.
- Performs patient evaluations and physical therapy assessments
- Develops and implements individualized treatment plans
- Provides therapeutic interventions for rehabilitation and functional improvement
- Maintains patient progress and adjusts treatment plans as needed
- Edits and educates patients and families on treatment plans and recovery goals
- Documents evaluations, treatments, and patient outcomes accurately
- Collaborates with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Maintains compliance with regulatory, licensing, and patient safety standards
Qualifications
- Educational Background: Bachelor/ Masters/ Doctorate/Certificate degree in Physical Therapy
- License: Current state Physical Therapy license
- Certification: Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
