Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations assessing strength, mobility, balance, endurance, and functional performance
  • Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans
  • Provide skilled interventions focused on mobility training, gait training, balance retraining, transfer training, and functional restoration
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, nursing, case management, and OT/SLP teams
  • Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans, safety strategies, and discharge recommendations
  • Complete timely and accurate documentation in accordance with hospital standards

Requirements

  • Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from a CAPTE-accredited program
  • Current Kentucky Physical Therapist license or eligibility for licensure
  • CPR certification, where applicable
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care
