What is Required?
- Graduate of an APTA-approved physical therapy program.
- Current, unrestricted PT license valid for the state of work.
- Minimum one (1) year of experience in a healthcare facility.
- Able and willing to travel within branch/office coverage area.
- Must have a dependable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and current auto insurance in accordance with state laws.
- Must be able and willing to travel 50%.
- Physically demanding, high stress environment.
- Potentially work irregular hours including call hours if applicable.
Skills
Contributes to Elara Caring's success by promoting the organization's philosophy, mission statement, and administrative policies to ensure quality of care. Provides direct patient care, evaluates functional needs and outcomes, and consults with other specialists. Designs and implements a plan of care for patients based on a thorough assessment of potential development and incorporates participation by significant others whenever it seems appropriate. Conducts therapy practice within defined standards of care. Directs the assistance of support staff to achieve patients' functional goals. Documents evaluations, treatment goals, and plans. Regularly updates documentation and maintains prescriptions and signatures. Provides direction and leadership to staff and acts as a resource to promote physical therapy in the community.
