About the role

The Physical Therapist (PT) will serve the Bakersfield area and is responsible for assessing and evaluating patient care needs to promote mobility, reduce pain, restore function, and prevent disability. They determine a treatment plan, execute interventions, and monitor patient progress.

Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patient care needs
• Determine a treatment plan based on assessment
• Execute interventions aimed at improving patient well-being
• Maintain accurate and discreet records
• Monitor patient progress effectively

Requirements

• Remarkable knowledge of physical therapy principles and methods
• Great skills in providing a variety of treatments
• Profound ability to communicate effectively
• Exceptional ability to understand the role of therapy in the context of patient age, needs, and environment
• Exceptional ability to prepare and maintain records with accuracy and discretion
• Proven sound clinical reasoning in treating and planning patient care
• Ability to recognize and modify treatment plans as needed

Qualifications

• Ability and enthusiasm in working with all ages
• Physical Therapist license and registration by the state
• Completion of a Physical Therapist curriculum approved by The American Physical Therapy Association, The Council on Medical Education and Hospitals of the American Medical Association, or The Council on Medical Education of the American Medical Association
• Bilingual a plus!
