About the role
The Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation is dedicated to providing exceptional and compassionate care to individuals with a variety of conditions including brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, neurological disorders, orthopedic issues, amputations, and multiple traumas.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate all assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify treatment plans in accordance with patient needs and physician direction.
- Delegation and direction of all discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients.
- Serve as an educator of patients, families, students, co-workers, and self.
- Perform other professional duties associated with patient care, development of discipline-specific therapy services, and design of program delivery.
- Evaluate assigned patients and establish appropriate treatment goals and programs.
- Develop comprehensive goals for patient treatment to maximize outcomes and return to community activities.
- Coordinate treatment programs in conjunction with other clinical/therapeutic services and available community resources.
- Attend appropriate clinical meetings to facilitate coordination.
- Provide patient education, including the development of comprehensive and progressive home programs with instruction to the patient, family, and other caregivers as appropriate to facilitate a safe and effective discharge.
- Evaluate patients in actual or simulated home, school, work, or community environments as necessary to facilitate a return to community activities, making recommendations for necessary adaptations or training.
- Identify and manage various levels of care necessary to ensure care plan delivery.
- Delegate and supervise the utilization of PTAs and support personnel to maximize patient outcomes and ensure effective service utilization.
Requirements
- Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
- Certified BLS.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- Passing score on the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE).
- Experience in inpatient rehabilitation preferred.

Pay
$84,240 - $113,401.60 (Based on experience)
Schedule
Full-Time, 8:45AM - 5:15PM Tuesday - Saturday
