About the role

Aegis Therapies, one of the nation’s leading providers of rehabilitation and wellness services, is hiring a Physical Therapist to join their supportive team.

Responsibilities

  • Provide physical therapy services to patients in nursing homes, rehabilitation centers, and skilled nursing facilities.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient assessment and goals.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment sessions.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Continuously seek and apply new evidence-based practices in physical therapy.

Requirements

  • Current license as a Physical Therapist or ability to obtain in the state of practice.
  • Experience in geriatric care is preferred but not required.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

  • Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
  • Passing scores on the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE).

Skills

  • Excellent clinical judgment and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using medical software and documentation systems.
