Physical Therapist (PT) - Acute Rehab

About the role

Evaluate and develop individualized treatment plans for patients, focusing on restoring, maintaining, or improving physical function. Supervise physical therapy assistants and aides, conducting assessments and delegating tasks. Perform therapy interventions using techniques suited to the patient's age and condition, including application of physical agents and use of equipment. Assess, fit, and modify prosthetic and orthotic devices as needed. Provide patient education on injury prevention, ergonomics, and rehabilitation.

Requirements

• Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program
• State licensure as a Physical Therapist
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire
• Critical thinking, decisive judgment, and ability to work independently
• Ability to perform effectively in a stressful environment
