Physical Therapist - Providence Valdez
About the role
We are hiring for Physical Therapist positions at Providence Valdez Medical Center in Valdez, Alaska!
Currently Available Schedules: Full time, 1.0 FTE, Day shift, 40 hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Evaluates the patient's condition and develops appropriate therapeutic programs to assist in the patient's recovery and treatment of the condition.
- Coordinates the care of patients and gives directions to the P.T. Assistants and Rehab Aides.
- Consults and communicates with the physician and DPCS.
- Provides care within the boundaries of physician orders and department procedures and policies.
- Deals with constant changing and varying patient needs.
- Keeps skills and knowledge up to date in a changing environment.
Requirements
- Graduation from a course of study approved by the Council of Medical Education.
- Bachelor's Degree Physical Therapy
- Master's Degree Physical Therapy
- Ph.D. Physical Therapy
- Upon hire: Alaska Physical Therapist License
- Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association

- Previous experience.

Pay
The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
