Physical Therapist - PRN/Per Diem

About the role

The Inpatient Rehabilitation Hospital at Cleveland Clinic is dedicated to providing comprehensive care for patients with various conditions such as brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, neurological disorders, orthopedic issues, amputations, and multiple traumas.

Responsibilities

• Performing initial and ongoing systematic patient assessments.
• Promoting continuous quality improvement.
• Teaching and counseling patients and families.
• Setting goals and developing treatment plans.
• Identifying and solving patient-specific and facility-wide needs.
• Conducting individual patient therapy regimens.
• Moderating patient responses to treatment during sessions, as needed.
• Completing appropriate documentation according to department policies and procedures.
• Participating in departmental, hospital, and community continuing education seminars and in-services.

Requirements

• Hold a current state licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT).
• Certified BLS or obtain it within 90 days of employment.

Qualifications

• Experience in rehabilitation settings preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
