About the role

This opportunity is ideal for those who are interested in working in a fun and interactive adult day care setting located in Sandy Springs, Georgia (8601 Dunwoody Place, Building 1, Suite 130, Sandy Springs, GA 30350). The position offers daytime hours, typically 8:30–9:00 a.m. to 3:00–4:00 p.m., providing an excellent work-life balance and a predictable weekday schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct screenings, evaluations, assessments, and treatments in accordance with state practice acts, plan of care, and company policies
  • Help optimize functional mobility, independence, and quality of life for members of the aging population
  • Accurately complete all required documentation in a timely manner
  • Participate in required orientations, staff meetings, and in-service education
  • In collaboration with the Director of Rehabilitation, develop robust therapy program
  • Provide clinical supervision to Therapy Assistants as indicated
  • Follow all infection control procedures and OBRA Resident Rights Guidelines
  • Demonstrate sound clinical judgment and effectively prioritize patient care
  • Support compliance with all state and federal regulations
  • Perform duties that may involve moderate to heavy physical demands
  • Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned

Requirements

  • Current or eligible Physical Therapist license in the state of practice
  • Graduate of a CAPTE-accredited physical therapy program
  • If foreign-trained, degree must be evaluated as equivalent to U.S. entry-level PT education by an APTA-approved credentialing agency
