Physical Therapist - PRN - Days

Role: Provides patient-specific physical therapy evaluations and develops tailored treatment programs. Responsibilities: Monitors, reassesses, and adjusts treatments to meet patient needs; supervises support staff such as assistants, aides, and students; applies knowledge of growth and development for diverse populations including newborns to geriatrics, considering psychosocial and developmental factors. Qualifications & Skills: Graduate of an accredited nursing school, preferably with a Bachelor's Degree; at least one year of experience in acute care preferred. Licenses/certifications include current Mississippi RN licensure, BLS & ACLS certification; PALS preferred. Key Duties: Performs treatments with awareness of patient-specific needs, manages emergency and unpredictable situations, and handles multiple interruptions while ensuring quality care. Additional Info: Exposure to health risks, chemicals, and unpredictable environments; requires sound judgment impacting patient outcomes.
