About the role

Responsibilities

• Monitors, reassesses, and adjusts treatments to meet evolving patient needs.
• Supervises support staff such as assistants, aides, and students.
• Applies knowledge of growth and development for diverse populations from newborns to geriatrics, considering psychosocial and developmental factors.
• Performs treatments with awareness of patient-specific needs, manages emergency and unpredictable situations, and handles multiple interruptions while ensuring quality care.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school, preferably with a Bachelor’s Degree.
• At least one year of experience in acute care preferred.
• Current Mississippi RN licensure.
• BLS & ACLS certification; PALS preferred.
