Physical Therapist - PRN

Main Responsibilities

• Perform initial and ongoing assessments, develop and implement treatment plans, and safely progress patients through therapy using evidence-based practices.
• Provide patient and family discharge planning, education, and home exercise programs.
• Cook with interdisciplinary team members and participate in staff orientation and development.
• Document patient care thoroughly and maintain a professional, clean, and safe work environment.
• Supervise students and technicians, contribute to departmental improvements, and manage caseloads effectively.

Qualifications & Skills

• Licensed by the State with graduation from an approved Physical Therapy program.
• Experience in patient care delivery, adept with standard equipment and technology.
• Able to work independently and under pressure, demonstrate manual dexterity, and perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 lbs., transferring patients, and maneuvering equipment safely.
• Effective communication skills in English and flexibility to work in various hospital areas as directed.
