Physical Therapist - PRN

Job Summary Responsible for evaluating and assessing patients to establish measurable, functional goals aimed at restoring abilities. Provides treatment based on a written care plan to achieve set objectives, and communicates progress and findings in accordance with licensure, scope of practice, and departmental policies. May supervise clinical students, support staff, and volunteers, fostering a caring environment that promotes health and healing. Participates in hospital committees, offers leadership support, and serves as a resource for performance improvement initiatives. Responsibilities Assess patients through subjective and objective data collection.Develop and implement a written plan of care.Deliver treatment aligned with care plan goals and evaluate effectiveness.Reassess patient progress and adjust treatment as needed.Provide discharge planning, including education, follow-up, and referrals.Support staff and student development.Contribute to healthcare quality improvement activities.Document interventions and patient progress accurately in medical records.Achieve assigned treatment goals. Qualifications & Skills Basic computer literacy.Licensure with BLS certification within 14 days of employment.Preferred advanced training or certification in primary practice area.
