Physical Therapist - PRN

About the role

We are seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to conduct patient assessments, develop and modify individualized treatment plans, and oversee therapy sessions aimed at restoring function, reducing pain, and preventing disability.

Responsibilities

• Direct communication with physicians and supervision of therapy assistants
• Incorporate evidence-based techniques to optimize patient outcomes
• Participate in departmental activities and contribute to program development
• Serve as a clinical resource for staff and interns
• Ensure timely and accurate documentation
• Maintain regulatory compliance and support departmental policies
• Engage in professional development through continuing education, presenting in-services, and reviewing current literature
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Meet productivity standards and assist in department operations
• Maintain licensure, certifications, and adhere to safety and organizational policies
• Perform manual therapies and safely lift patients as required

Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist
• Current BLS certification

Skills

• Familiarity with treatment modalities
• Discretion when working with patients
• Physical stamina for patient handling and manual therapies

Work Environment

This role involves exposure to infectious risks and requires the physical ability to perform manual therapies and lift patients safely.
