About the role
We evaluate patients and provide inpatient physical therapy treatment programs based on physician orders. Our goal is to help patients achieve their specific health goals while ensuring their safety and well-being.
Responsibilities
- Performs evaluations and develops treatment plans to meet patient-specific goals.
- Affirms the patient's response to treatment and adjusts the treatment plan accordingly.
- Maintains accurate patient records and ensures compliance with hospital quality and safety standards.
- Collaborates with the healthcare team to ensure patients are transitioned to the most appropriate level of care.
- Adapts to the needs of various patient populations, ensuring privacy and clear communication.
- Completes other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
This job requires a Bachelor's degree in physical therapy and proficiency in using computers and software. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with strong judgment and decision-making abilities.
Qualifications
- Current physical therapy license in state of practice OR eligibility for licensure by examination OR reciprocity from another state.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
Skills
Proficiency in computer systems, software, and web-based applications is necessary. Effective verbal and written communication skills are also crucial for interacting with patients, colleagues, and healthcare teams.
