Physical Therapist, PRN

About the role

The Physical Therapist (PT) plays a pivotal role in the rehab department at our skilled nursing facility, promoting the physical well-being and functional recovery of our residents.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, plan, and administer treatment to residents and patients with temporary or long-term disabilities to relieve pain, restore or improve function, and promote healing
• Assure all treatment is delivered in accordance with an established plan of care
• Provide clinical support and instruct patients, families, and caregivers
• Measure and record patient's motor function, strength, and muscle performance
• Monitor patient responses to treatments and make modifications during treatment sessions as necessary
• Complete documentation in accordance with company policy and state/federal regulations

Qualifications

• Current License as a Physical Therapist in the State of PA
• Must be in good standing

Skills

• SNF/Long term care experience preferred
• Current knowledge of treatment practices
• Knowledge of Net Health Electronic Documentation System preferred
• Ability to manage patients with different types of personalities
