Physical Therapist - PRN

Careers With Purpose joins a not-for-profit organization that has provided over 100 years of housing and services to seniors in a Christian environment. Located at the GSS NE Beatrice Ctr in Beatrice, NE, this role offers a unique blend of skilled rehabilitation and long-term care.
Responsibilities
- Plans, organizes, and delivers physical therapy programs to help clients/patients/residents recover and improve their mobility, relieve pain, increase strength, and prevent deformities.
- Conducts examinations, evaluations, and interventions for clients/patients/residents affected by injury or disease.
- Utilizes tools and techniques to administer physical therapy interventions following safety protocols.
- Documents client/patient/resident information for evaluation; establishes and modifies therapeutic plans as needed.
- Educates clients/patients/residents and their family members about treatment plans/schedules and self-exercises to be continued at home.
- Demonstrates and incorporates knowledge of current research into daily treatment of clients/patients/residents.
- Treats individuals of all ages with varying diagnoses and disorders.
- Follows and adheres to accepted clinical practice guidelines of professional organizations.
- Demonstrates flexibility with acceptance of variable work schedules/assignments.
- Participates in activities to promote the department, Good Samaritan Society, and Sanford Health.
- Interacts with individuals outside the department including providers, case managers, third-party payers, public organizations, companies/contractual partners, etc.
- May be asked to supervise assistants, aides, and students as they provide client/patient/resident care, treatment, or other services.
- Provides ongoing education and training to peers in areas of expertise as determined by department leadership.
Requirements
- Appropriate education level required in accordance with state licensure.
- Licensed in the state(s) of practice as a Physical Therapist.
- Valid driver's license when applicable.
- Obtains and maintains required department-specific competencies and certifications.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for health care providers required or within the first 60 days of employment.

- Appropriate education level required in accordance with state licensure.
- Licensed in the state(s) of practice as a Physical Therapist.

Pay
$37.50 - $62.00 per hour
