Physical Therapist - PRN

Role Overview Seeking a Physical Therapist with experience in an acute pediatric setting for a PRN position. The role involves providing skilled physical therapy services, evaluating and treating patients, and developing treatment plans considering discharge needs and functional status. Responsibilities include educating patients and families, collaborating with healthcare providers, delegating tasks to assistants and students, and documenting care in accordance with policies. Providing assessments, reassessments, and consultations is also essential. Qualifications & Skills Education: Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy required; Master’s Degree preferred.Licenses: Valid Physical Therapist License.Experience: No prior experience necessary. Key Duties Establish and implement treatment plans, considering discharge needs and appropriate equipment.Educate and collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams, making referrals as needed.Delegate interventions to assistants and students based on competency levels.Complete accurate documentation and provide ongoing assessments and consultations.
