About the Role

Provide Physical Therapy services to patients of all ages who have impairments, functional limitations, disabilities, or changes in physical function and health status resulting from injury, disease, or other causes. The Physical Therapist interacts and practices in collaboration with a variety of professionals involved in patient care. Responsibilities include educating and directing physical therapy services, supervising support personnel, and delivering prevention and wellness services. The role also involves program development and teaching for patients and staff.

Responsibilities

  • Perform examinations, evaluations, diagnoses, prognoses, and interventions to reduce patient disability.
  • Provide prevention and wellness services.
  • Develop and teach programs for patients and staff.
  • Supervise and direct physical therapy support personnel.

Requirements

  • Current California Physical Therapist license.
  • American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification.
  • Education and training sufficient to obtain a California Physical Therapist license.

Qualifications

Experience with patient populations that include neurological, orthopedic, and medical conditions is preferred.

Schedule

Day shift within Post-Acute Services, which includes the Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility and Skilled Nursing Facility. Expected hours: 16–32 per two weeks.

Position type: Per Diem.

Pay

Pay range: $61.75 to $82.59 per hour, based on years of applicable experience.

  • Evening shift differential: $3.87 per hour.
  • Night shift differential: $5.81 per hour.
